Processes and Manufacturing

Our manufacturing process is guided by a strong commitment to minimizing our environmental impact and promoting sustainable practices. We recognize that our production involves various materials, and to address their impact on the environment or manufacturer conduct in-depth research and create Material Impact profiles. These profiles allow us to assess the environmental, social, and supply impacts of each material, enabling us to prioritize our efforts effectively.

Based on their analysis, they have identified several key materials that have a significant environmental footprint. To tackle these challenges, they are focusing on implementing sustainable alternatives and practices. Our priorities include recycled polyester (rPet), recycled nylon, recycled leather, polyurethane, zinc, biodegradable plastic, and bio leather products.

By prioritizing recycled polyester and nylon, we reduce our reliance on virgin resources and contribute to the circular economy. Using recycled  and bio-leather and polyurethane allows us to minimize the environmental impact of traditional leather production while still maintaining quality and durability. Zinc, known for its recyclability, offers a more sustainable option for our hardware and accessories. Biodegradable plastic ensures that our products have a reduced environmental impact at the end of their life cycle. Using renewable and eco-friendly material, allows us to explore innovative and sustainable solutions.

Through these initiatives, our manufacturer has made significant progress in waste reduction within our supply chain. In 2019 alone, our manufactures efforts prevented over 900 tons of polluting waste from entering landfills and other ecosystems. This achievement highlights our commitment to recovering materials more effectively and reducing our overall environmental footprint.

While most of our lining materials currently consist of recycled polyester (rPet), recycled nylon, and recycled cotton, we continually seek opportunities to innovate and expand the use of recovered and renewable materials. We understand that sometimes recovered scrap materials may not meet our quality standards, but we actively collaborate with our suppliers to overcome these challenges. By working together, we strive to develop solutions that not only meet our quality requirements but also bring down costs, ensuring that sustainable materials become more accessible and widely accepted in the market.

Through our ongoing efforts to research, prioritize, and implement sustainable alternatives, we aim to create products that not only meet high-quality standards but also minimize our environmental impact. We believe that by integrating innovation, collaboration, and responsible manufacturing practices, we can contribute to a more sustainable and eco-conscious future.
